i can't understand why there would be doubters- here is a mere UPDATE on the ever evolving narrative
1) There was a firefight.
2) There was no firefight.
3) Bin Laden was “resisting.”
4) Bin Laden wasn’t armed. (Makes the concept of “resisting” interesting.)
4.a) And the newest one: the SEALS thought bin Laden was reaching for a weapon.
5) He used his wife as a shield.
6) His wife was killed too.
7) He didn’t use his wife as a shield. She ran at a SEAL who shot her in the leg, but she’s fine.
8 ) Some other woman — the maid? — was used as a shield. By somebody. Downstairs.
9) That other woman — downstairs — was killed.
10) Maybe not. She was killed unless she wasn’t — and who was she, anyway?
11) Bin Laden’s son was killed.
12) Unless it was some other guy.
13) Bin Laden’s daughter saw him get killed. She’s undoubtedly traumatized, poor dear.
14) They were going to capture Bin Laden until the problem with the helicopter, which was:
A) It had mechanical trouble
B) It did a hard landing
C) It crashed
D) It clipped a wall with a tail rotor, effectively a crash
15.) They were never going to try to capture him; it was always a kill mission.
16.) No, it wasn’t.
17) The chopper blew up.
18 ) The SEALs blew it up.
19.) Panetta said yesterday the world needed proof and the photo would be released.
20.) Obama said today in an interview he taped with Steve Kroft for “60 Minutes” to be broadcast Sunday that it won’t be released. It’s too gruesome, would offend Muslim sensibilities, and how would Americans feel if Muslims released pictures of dead Americans?
21.) Kroft — who’s not a total idiot — pointed out that ever since “Black Hawk Down” days, Muslims have been doing precisely that, filming American bodies being dragged through the streets, filming Daniel Pearl’s head being cut off, filming any and everything.
22) Obama gets ****ed at CBS, the tape gets cleaned up, that question disappears. (Inside info.)
23.) We got a “treasure trove” of stuff from hard drives, etc.
24.) There were no phone lines, and no internet access at the “mansion,” they didn’t even have TV
— what “treasure trove?”
25.) There is obviously in the pictures of the place a large satellite dish. I guess they used it for making salads.
26.) And now, just today: apparently the idea was to capture him, but only if he was naked. There was a suspicion he might be wearing a suicide bomber type explosive vest, or belt. So if he’s not naked and you can’t see if he has a vest on or not – shoot him. Is this really “fog of war”?

1. A guy who hasn't made a video or had a picture taken of him in almost 10 years suddenly shows up living in the 'burbs next to a Pakistani military base. Prior to 2002 he was making videos, giving interviews, left right and center. Now he was supposedly chillaxing next to a Pakistani base which would have been aware of his existence for years and couldn't pass a single 'Call to Jihad' or whatever in that time to his protectors? Weird things happen indeed but a person cannot change his nature just like this, especially when Al-Qaeda has done fuck all this decade apart from blowing up markets in the third-world. Not a single video to rally the troops in a decade, half of which was supposedly spent in a city with easy access to communications?
2. The US go 'Hoohah!' and send in the clowns(SF). They have 'Osama' surprised and cornered and unarmed in a bedroom. THEY HAVE THE WORLD'S MOST WANTED TERRORIST; THE DEVIL HIMSELF; AT THEIR MERCY but instead of tying him up, putting a bag over his head and shipping him away to Gitmo and for a trial where they could milk the propaganda for all it's worth, they kill him. How stupid is this?
OBL alive could divulge a lot of information the CIA could only dream of having! Even if he kept mum, there are huge benefits in having a 'legal' trial to show how superior the USA is, and how it respects the rights of even Belzeebub! Finally, everyone in the world would be able to take a look at this creature in a cage, take tests and see that IT REALLY IS BIN LADEN!
3. When killing 'Bin Laden' they also make sure to shoot him in the face so as to make visual identification just that extra bit harder and more ambiguous should somehow something happen between this time and getting rid of the body, like the helicopter they were meant to escape in failing to start. Not in the leg like the woman, not in the arms or the chest, but the head! Not really a good place to shoot a guy when you know that people will be asking for photographic or video proof as part of any identification of the body.
4. After two decades of blowing apart and frying Muslims; burying them alive in trenches, leaving their bodies to rot in the sun, taking away bodies for examination for days etc. the US SUDDENLY BECOMES A PIOUS MUSLIM NATION ready to administer all the trappings of a 'dignified' Muslim burial to its greatest enemy! Even here they make sure that they do not follow the burial rights correctly given the circumstances; they make sure that instead of burying him where his body could be examined in future(shrine talk is just a smokescreen), they dump him at sea. They don't do an autopsy, take longer as is possible to further corroborate their claims, but instead show their 'faith' by getting rid of the body as fast as possible.
Each one of these things would cause doubt about the identity of the guy they shot. Together, and with the illogical justifications for points 2,3 and 4 it points to the conclusion that all these things were done in order to make a real independent examination of this person impossible. There was EVERY BENEFIT IN KEEPING THIS GUY ALIVE OR AT THE VERY LEAST KEEPING HIS BODY yet they chose not to. At any point, they could have stopped and allowed someone else to take samples of and examine the body whether dead or alive, INTERPOL, the UN, anybody. He would also have been of much greater benefit alive for a bit longer at least for the US Government itself!
Why do this? The only thing that makes sense is that it wasn't Bin Laden at all.
